Gran Turismo 7

The CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jim Ryan, has just taken the stage of the Japanese company's conference at CES 2023  to officially announce the arrival of Gran Turismo 7 VR for  PlayStation VR2 , a new virtual reality viewer coming to market between now a few weeks and dedicated entirely to PS5.

The President and CEO of SIE then revealed that the seventh chapter of the famous racing game series by Polyphony Digital (which has exceeded 90 million copies sold ) will also make its debut in the world of Virtual Reality starting from February 22, 2023 , PS VR2 launch day, through a free upgrade dedicated to all owners of the game for PlayStation 5.

Unfortunately, the official information regarding this new Gran Turismo 7 update has been very few, but despite this, Jim Ryan showed the public a small gameplay video recorded directly from the cockpit of a game car, with a driver intent on making the lap of the perfect track in order to be able to get the better of the other riders in the race.

Before saying goodbye, let's remember that Virtual Reality support is not something new for Polyphony Digital, given that the Japanese development team had already released a VR version for Gran Turismo Sport, obviously dedicated to the first viewer for PlayStation 4.
