A few months ago Ubisoft introduced us to the future of the Assassin's Creed saga . With the end of Valhalla, the last game released in the franchise, a new path begins that begins with Assassin's Creed Mirage, a smaller title than the latest RPGs and closer to the original formula.However, in their presentation they gave us a vague release date, confirming that it will arrive sometime in 2023.
Assassin's Creed Mirage would have been delayed internally twice already
Although the first reports placed its launch in the first months of the year, Tom Henderson through Insider Gaming has commented that his sources ensure that the game has been delayed twice internally. This brings its expected in-studio release date to August 2023 , almost three years after Assassin's Creed Valhalla was released.
But what has caused these internal delays? The reason, as Tom Henderson speculates, would be complications and problems due to the hardware limitations of the last generation consoles, that is, PS4 and Xbox One, platforms that Assassin's Creed Mirage will also reach at launch.
