CD Projekt RED just kept its word a few days ago, releasing the first trailer for the Next Gen upgrade of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which will be released over the next few weeks on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S as well as on pc.

Before leaving you to the movie in question, which shows for the first time the gameplay of this new version of the game starring Geralt of Rivia , the development team based in Warsaw also revealed a whole series of new features that have been included in this free upgrade of the third chapter of the series dedicated to the famous witcher:
- Ray-traced global illumination
- Support for FSR 2 and DLSS
- Photo mode
- The new graphics mode called 'Ultra+' is available
- There will also be the now inevitable Performance mode
- Then here is the Quality mode with a lot of support for RTGI and FSR2
- A new camera will be available, capable of offering a "different view" and much closer than the standard one
- Some textures have been redesigned, such as those relating to foliage
- Gameplay improvements have been added
- Improvements have been made to some environments
- Shadows are now much more defined than in the past
- Presence of Cross Save on all platforms, so as to allow users to play where and how they want, without starting the adventure all over again
- DualSense support on PlayStation 5
