At the beginning of April we witnessed the official launch of Outriders , the latest triple A from People Can Fly and Square Enix, which is being a sales success and has become the best launch on Steam of the Japanese company.
However, during the first days of launch, the vast majority of players have suffered constant disconnections, in addition to having certain functions disabled; like cross-play between consoles and PC. The studio has recently released a press release, in it we could see a large part of the errors and functionalities that will be corrected in the first patch, some of them are highly requested.
All the fixes Outriders will receive in their first patch
The Polish studio public yesterday much of its corrections and some rewards for players who have supported the title from day one. Some features focus solely on the PC version, but others are more pervasive.
- Fixed a performance issue where the GPU is not fully utilized. This should help with stuttering and DX11 / 12 issues
- Once the platforms have been updated to the same version of the patch, cross-platform play will be available again.
- General stability improvements for the matchmaking service
- Fixed a crash during multiplayer that could cause players' inventory to be cleared
- Fixed crash when completing the side quest "A Bad Day"
- Fixed HUD disappearing on specific occasions
- Fixed bugs that interfere with player respawning in multiplayer expeditions
- Fixed bugs with players getting stuck in geometry (even when using Gravity Leap) or falling out of the world
- The default pairing setting will be changed from “Open” to “Closed”. You can always change it from the game settings
- Fixed a lot of bugs during launch and general fixes
These are some of the changes that will arrive in the first update, in addition to improving the multiplayer and general performance.
