Capcom is going to open a new website dedicated to the Resident Evil universe , as the company itself has announced in an email to its ambassadors.
" Resident Evil Portal ", which is what this new domain will be called, which unfortunately is not a crossover of the horror saga with the Portal video game, will have information on the "numerous projects we are working on to bring you more about Resident Evil has to offer, "reads the email.
All content that was in Biohazard Club 96, Resident Evil Ambassador Program, and ResidentEvil.net will now be in the new Resident Evil Portal.
We already know several projects based on the Resident Evil universe for 2021. The first, Resident Evil 8 Village , which will be the first appearance of the license on next-generation consoles, whose premiere will take place during the first months of the year.
A new film based on Capcom's horror saga is also planned. It will be a reboot that promises to be more focused on intrigue and horror than the movies starring Milla Jovivich . In fact, the film will be based on the story of the first game and the characters from the virtual world will appear.
