FIA Gran Turismo Championships

Japanese driver Takuma Miyazono becomes the best driver in the world this year of Gran Turismo.

This past weekend the world finals of the  2020 FIA Gran Turismo Championships were held , which have left a good taste in the mouths of the Spanish drivers. Especially to Coque López , who has climbed to second position on the podium with the BMW team in the Manufacturer Series final .

A bit less luck was the now classic Spanish simracer in the Nations Cup finals, the peak moment in which the 16 best drivers of the year met. In the last race, López went off the track running out of options to fight for victory and was in tenth position. For his part, José Serrano , who made his debut in the finals, achieved a more than worthy fifth place, and high hopes for the future: his sublime performance on the wet on the Tokyo street circuit in the second round of the final will be remembered. .

The victory went to the Japanese pilot  Takuma Miyazono . The positions of honor on the final podium of the Nations Cup were completed by the Italian Valerio Gallo and the Japanese Ryota Kokubun.

Miyazono has become a legend by scoring a historic treble , climbing to the top in the Manufacturer, the GR Supra GT Cup and the Nations Cup.
